One of my favorite things to do while doing chores around the house, traveling for work or on a long run is to listen to a podcast. If I am in need of some major entrepreneurial guidance and motivation to keep things going, or looking for a spiritual and/or entertaining mental escape- podcasts are usually my go-to jam. The ones I have listed below are some of my favorite ones. I listen to these podcasts on a daily basis and have my list of favorite episodes which I have heard several times.
How I Built This with Guy Raz - This is by far one of my favorite podcasts. I love listening to the highs and lows that are part of the amazing journey of an entrepreneur. One of my favorite episodes which I have listened to numerous times is the story of the amazing brand Warby Parker (one of my favorites brands) and the people behind it Dave Gilboa & Neil Blumenthal - a must listen!
Another one I have on repeat is Oprah's Super Soul Conversations. I mean, who doesn't love Oprah?? I often listen to Super Soul Conversations during my early morning run (5:30 am) or in the evening with a glass of red vino in hand. It may sound a little silly but I love how Oprah makes me feel like I am in sitting in the room with her and her guest, just girlfriends casually chatting about really important things. One of my favorite episodes is a recent one with Selma Hayek Pinault. I love Selma's view on aging gracefully and balancing motherhood and being a wife :)
Girl Boss Radion with Sophia Amoruso is a very honest and at times hilarious way to get solid insights on the journey women have taken to develop a successful brand and career while staying true to their inner voice. I recently listened to the episode featuring Miranda Kerr, model, and entrepreneur. Not only is Miranda gorgeous but she is a bad ass entrepreneur and the brains behind Kora Organics.
I have been a big fan of Goop for awhile now and love reading their content, but was recently introduced to their podcast by a dear friend. This past weekend while tackling large piles of laundry, I listened to the first Goop podcast episode, a conversation between the company's CEO Gwyneth Paltrow and Oprah. These amazing women talk about the MeToo movement, Oprah's latest movie a Wrinkle In Time, motherhood and so much more - Check out the episode here and listen ASAP - you will LOVE this podcast!
Tony Robbins Podcast is the podcast I turn to when I need to challenge myself as a business owner or feel like I have lost my entrepreneur stride Tony's high energy is truly contagious, his episodes are filled with amazing business and day to day stories and advice. I love the March 14th episode with Gilt Groupe co-founder Alexandra Wilkis Wilson, what an amazing woman and visionary!
As a business owner online marketing is key to our success - Amy Porterfield's Online Marketing Made Easy podcast is not only one of my favorite podcast to listen to but a must listen for so many of my colleagues and friends. Every time I listen to this podcast I feel like I am in a classroom listening to Amy's words of wisdom. I have multiple pages of notes I have taken down from various episodes! Here is one of my favorite episodes.
Last but certainly not least is The Lively Show with Jess Lively. I just started listening to The Lively Show, so I am still in learning/research mode but what I can tell you is that so far I have found the episodes to be very uplifting providing an interesting and positive perspective on getting the most out of my daily grind :)
What are you listening to these days? Share your favorites, I would love to add them to my mix.
